Kimberly Conklin is a member of the Labor and Employment and Litigation practice groups at Robison Curphey & O'Connell in Toledo, Ohio. Prior to joining RCO Law, Kimberly spent 20 years with the Kerger Law Firm where she practiced general and commercial litigation while maintaining a focus on labor and employment matters.
Kimberly is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law. She represents employers and employees in both state and federal courts, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Unemployment Review Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and various other administrative tribunals. Kimberly also advises employers on labor relations matters, drafting and revising employee handbooks and policies, conducting Title VII investigations and auditing workplace policies for compliance and best practices.
In addition, Kimberly has an active litigation practice and represents both businesses and individuals in contract disputes, property damage claims, insurance coverage disputes and personal injury matters.
Kimberly is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and has continued her love of public service through active volunteerism with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio and as a Board Member for Sylvania Community Services. In addition, Kimberly was appointed to serve on the Sylvania Schools Board of Education in 2020 and was re-elected in 2023.
Kimberly lives in Sylvania, Ohio with her husband, Shaun, a Toledo Police Detective and her two teenage daughters. By far, her most active roles are currently that of "dance mom" and "softball mom" for which she takes great pride.
