October 02, 2024

Attorneys Kayla Henderson and Amy Luck served on the Executive Committee for the 2024 Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure held on Sunday, September 29, in Downtown Toledo. Thousands turned out to raise more than $148,290 for breast cancer. Funds raised will provide financial and emotional support for breast cancer patients, and will underwrite ongoing research. Known for its hot pink brand, the annul event celebrates survivors and honors those who were lost to breast cancer.

Kayla and Amy planned and hosted the VIP Event for Komen’s top fundraising individuals and teams, corporate sponsors, board members, and executives. The event featured a survivors' parade, opening ceremony and 5K run/walk.

Founded in 1982 in Dallas, Susan G. Komen is the world's largest non-profit breast cancer organization.

Kayla Henderson (L) and Amy Luck hosted the Komen Race VIP Event held on Sunday at Fifth Third Field/Hensville.
