Advocate, Leader, Volunteer: Kayla Henderson Sets the Bar in Toledo

Kayla L. Henderson, Partner at RCO Law, is a dedicated advocate for the Toledo community, demonstrated by her active involvement in several local and professional organizations.

Currently, Kayla serves as president of Board of Directors for The Toledo Clinic Foundation, leading the organization’s mission to provide financial assistance for non-medical expenses of cancer patients undergoing treatment with The Toledo Clinic physicians.

Kayla is also a Northwest Ohio representative on the Board of the Society for Ohio Healthcare Attorneys, contributing to the advancement of health care law in Ohio by fostering communication and collaboration among attorneys in the field.

She also is deeply involved with the local bar, holding a Director position with the Toledo Bar Association. She is the Vice-Chair of the Common Pleas Court Committee and actively involved in the Doctors and Lawyers Committee.

Her service to the bar was recently honored when she received the 2024 Toledo Bar Association Trustee’s Award.

As an immediate past president of the Toledo Junior Bar Association Executive Committee, she has helped put on the Gridiron Show, a staple event in Toledo’s legal community for over 90 years.

In addition to her professional activities, Kayla has a passion for animals, and serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter.
