About Julia
Julia serves as lead defense counsel on medical negligence cases throughout the State of Ohio. She is dedicated to the health care industry, representing physicians, residents, hospitals, nurses and the medical providers faced with professional negligence claims. She also represents medical professionals during investigations by professional associations and licensure boards. Throughout her 38-year career, Julia has assisted clients in developing educational programs, and policies and procedures. She is a past president and long-time board member of the Society of Ohio Hospital Attorneys (SOHA).
Before focusing on professional negligence defense, Julia defended national railroads, businesses and individuals in serious injury and wrongful death claims.
Besides law, Julia’s great passion is for national and regional history. She has served on the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Preservation Commission Board since 2013 and been president since 2016. In August 2019, the Fallen Timbers Battlefield celebrated its 225th anniversary with Julia leading the commemorative activities attracting several thousand people. Currently, she also serves on the Waterville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Waterville Historical Society Executive Committee and Board.
