About Amy

Amy’s practice includes labor and employment law, civil and commercial litigation including review and development of policies and practices. She also represents clients in adversarial proceedings for administrative agencies through the courts. In response to the pandemic, Amy served on the firm’s COVID Response Team and counseled many businesses and nonprofit organizations on how to protect employees and comply with rapidly-emerging government mandates.

Amy is adept at supporting human resource departments including analyzing organizational structures; drafting policies and procedures; conducting internal audits and investigations; consulting on wage, hour, and benefits; defending employers against EEOC or state entity claims; and negotiating severance agreements.

When an issue merits litigation, Amy is skilled in the courtroom providing valuable counsel from the discovery process through trial. She has defended municipalities, schools, and employees against claims of constitutional rights violations. Her courtroom experience spans multiple state and federal court systems representing businesses on labor and employment law, civil litigation, civil rights litigation, commercial litigation, municipal law, and family law matters.
