The 8th Annual Blues, Brews and Brats Festival will be held this weekend on Saturday, July 29, in Downtown Waterville. The festival is presented by the Waterville Rotary and Third Street Cigar, with RCO Law as a sponsor.
Chris Canas, known as Detroit's Prince of the Blues, will open the evening at 5:30 p.m. Festival goers will also enjoy Grammy-nominated Dwayne Dopsie (pictured) and the Zydeco Hellraisers, The Altered Five Blues Band, and The Ghost Town Blues Band.
All proceeds go to the Waterville Rotary, a community service organization that recently celebrated its 95th year. The Waterville Rotary supports local school scholarships, Anthony Wayne Interact, food banks, the YMCA of Greater Waterville, Nature's Nursery and other community projects.
