Joshua M. Kin

Trained as a trial and appellate attorney, Joshua enjoys a broad commercial litigation practice supporting a broader transactional practice. With an impressive range of legal experience, he has handled personal injury cases both minor and complex, simple breach of contract cases to complex trade secret cases involving theft of computer source code; basic collection cases to protracted representation of major secured creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings. He has also represented clients at administrative proceedings, arbitration, local municipal courts, state trial and appellate courts, federal district, and bankruptcy courts. Joshua often can be found representing creditors in bankruptcy matters and advising businesses and colleagues on bankruptcy-related matters.

Super Lawyers recognizes Josh as a Top-Rated Business Litigation Attorney and Rising Star (2017-2020). The Ohio State Bar Association Litigation Section awarded Joshua with its prestigious 2015 Rising Litigator Award.

Joshua is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, and he serves on the Board of Directors of the Findlay YMCA.

Joshua is a graduate of the University of Mississippi (cum laude) and the University of Dayton School of Law. During law school, he served as comment editor for the University of Dayton Law Review, and as a teaching assistant for the university’s legal writing course. Joshua honed his appellate advocacy skills by completing Bryan Garner’s Advanced Legal Writing and Art of Persuasion courses. He also served as an extern for the Second District Court of Appeals of Ohio.
