Relevant Experience
Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration
- Establishing an estate plan is one of the most important, yet difficult, steps successful individuals and families can take to protect themselves and their loved ones. Brad routinely works with clients to plan for life, deal with death, and efficiently preserve and transfer their wealth.
- JBusiness owners are a number of things - entrepreneurial, hard-working, self-starters, and devoted. Their business is an integral part of their life and their loyalty to employees and customers makes planning for the orderly transition following their departure from the business a necessity. Brad regularly works with family and closely-held businesses to develop
and implement comprehensive plans for the efficient and organized transfer of control when the owner is no longer involved in the day-to-day operations.
- Qualified retirement accounts (e.g., Traditional and Roth IRA, 401(k), 403(b), SEP, Simple IRA) have become the primary vehicle for funding retirement. As such, retirement plans often comprise the largest asset that a person owns. Brad regularly assists clients in navigating the variety of issues specific to retirement plans: lifetime distributions, rollover planning, beneficiary designations, and controlling post-death distributions to beneficiaries.
Charitable Planning
- Clients are often very passionate about their benevolence and specific charitable causes. Brad frequently works with clients to design strategies to accomplish their charitable goals in the most tax-efficient manner utilizing qualified assets, charitable remainder trusts, and other charitable techniques.
